Problems with large .TIF files

This is a discussion on Problems with large .TIF files within the Post Processing Central forums, part of the Photography Information category; For 35mm.......2400 DPI, 16 bit for B&W, 48 bit for color, TIFF. Done. I don't have any 35mm files here ...

For 35mm.......2400 DPI, 16 bit for B&W, 48 bit for color, TIFF. Done.
I don't have any 35mm files here at work. I don't remember the exact file sizes. Not too big.
If/when you wish to share the photos, make your corrections in Lightroom and export JPEGs for sending to family.
I did 2 boxes of Kodachrome exactly like that last week.

All scans of film should be saved as TIFF files.

in the epson software, there are two different TIF formats. One is called "multi-TIF". Any idea on which one is more appropriate?

multi-TIF is for documents.

Google FIRST then ask here if GOOGLE doesn't make sense to you or you wish to go deeper than what GOOGLE finds.
