Lightroom Metadata Plugin? - 10-13-2010, 09:47 PM

Hi everyone. I am looking for a plugin for Lightroom 2.x that would allow me to store things like model release information (release number, license info, etc) and model bio info (real name, stage name, etc). The closest I have found is one that will let you tie a model release number to a picture but that doesnt really work in my setup. Does anyone know if something like this exists? Or if it doesnt would anyone other than the OCD engineers be interested in something like that?

Thanks

Michael

I'm curious, why not use keywords?

I don't think Metdata/Exif is set up to hold that much info. The information fields are pretty standardized.

If just storing the info in LR is the goal, why not use the caption field as a kind of "notes" area.

After thinking about it, I would think keywords would do what's needed.

It's searchable
It's free text in that you can format your string as you like, ie Model Name~MM#~Contract# or have each of criteria a separate keyword, model name, MM#, contract#
