Alternative to Noisware Pro 64 bit for Mac - 11-02-2010, 04:24 PM

For everyone that thought - PC... wrong answer

I'm tired of waiting on Imagenomic to get their 64 bit Mac version of Noiseware Pro out. Is there something else out there that is as good as Noiseware is. Preferably, if you respond, you have used Noiseware Pro (PC or Mac, doesn't matter) and know what you are comparing to. Noiseware Pro was extremely good... Too bad they crapped on their 64 bit / Mac / CS5 users...

Topaz looks pretty good. Neat Image uses profiles like Noise Ninja does Not digging that too much. Thanks Sonny!

I'm using Topaz, and I'm pretty pleased with it.

Topaz is great, although it does take longer per image than Imagenomic's.

Topaz seems like a pretty good program. I've been playing with some of their other tools too. But Sam is right, it's very slow compared to Noiseware but then again, Noiseware doesn't work for 64 bit Mac...

I would be happy if somebody could explain noise reduction in Lightroom. Sharpening too.

Michael, I do hope you find an answer. Did you ever solve the PC problem you were having a few weeks ago? Or did you just shoot it?
