3.3 RC1 is the Release Candidate. It's not official yet.

Lightroom 3.2 arrived yesterday. Just in time to throw the box in the car and evacuate Houston before the Ice Age.
I have it installed and updated to 3.3. The lens calibration looks promising. That's about the only useful new addition. The rest is the usual cosmetic changes in the interface to justify calling it an upgrade.
Note to Adobe: Stay away from presets. The originals didn't work. Adding a lot more that work worse than the original batch is a waste of time money and monitor real estate to display them. I will have to ask Adobe how to delete them.
Presets in General: I haven't found any that do anything useful for me. I must be looking in Presets R Ugly.

You must be. I love presets, have a ton of them, and find them to give me a great starting point for post-camera creativity.

Sorry. I don't get it. Lightroom AUTO commands for white balance and tone don't work for me. The Lightroom Presets are worse. Can you see "UGLY"? I built my own preset. Works for me.

I seldom, if ever, use the default LR presets. The ones I do use consist of others that I pick up here and there, OnOne presets, and some that I create myself. That's what I meant by "I love presets."

There are some other useful features as well. For me, the new luminance noise reduction alone was worth the upgrade from 2.x to 3.x.

There are several new features in LR3. You might not use them all... or you might eventually.

I, also, recommend keeping an eye on the following blog in which Matt frequently shares tips and tricks.
