Not really stating that they all be merged in the original post, but by deleting all other comments, that would insure that all the updates are in order. But still what ever way you guys find it best.

Still outstanding resource though.

Sonny.
You seem to know your way around Lightroom, I am having a problem creating a watermark in Lightroom 3.2. It doesn't see the particular font I use for my logo. It is a True Type font. Is there a problem?

Thanks in advance!

OpenType fonts are not supported in LR, but you said you were using TrueType fonts so it should be fine. Let me know what font are you using and I'll test it on my end.

I am trying to use one called "Dear Joe". I have it in my font folder within windows. Lightroom 3.0 and 3.2 both see it and I am able to use it to do the watermark, but LR 3.3 does not see it. I guess I just don't know why... If I need to place a copy of it somewhere else, just tell me where... I went on Adobe's sight to look for ideas in the forum, but to no avail...........

thanks!

The 'Dear Joe' fonts works. It's near the very bottom of the font list instead of being in alphabetical order. For what ever reason, Windows changes the capitalization of the font name when it is installed.

Thanks Sonny, that's right where it was.... Now, I am frustrated because no matter what I do, it won't place the watermark on the images. I have even re-started Lightroom after creating the watermark, yet when I export an image, it exports fine, but no watermark. I never had this issue with LR 3.0

Did Adobe change something?

  • Only about 4 hours a night.
  • Sometimes.
  • Only get 4 hours of sleep.

Sony this is awesome, because I had been referred to buy PS Elements instead of Lightroom. You've given so much help here, thanks.
