How to design Wedding albums in Lightroom - 12-01-2010, 10:00 AM

So I did my very first video. I figured this out and thought I would share it. This falls in with my regular work flow so well, I've gone from a 6 hour design time to a 2 hour design time on my albums. It's been great for me.
Anyway don't tear me up too much, this is my first set of videos!

Thanks Sonny!
I'm a bit too perky in the first video, every time I hear the Hello part, I cringe! ROFL

Watched the first video. Looks good. Nice Job April!

edit: Watched your second video and workarounds, then took a look at my LR setup. I didn't have an issue with it defaulting to 11x14. This might be because I have an Epson 7900 connected to my system already loaded with roll paper.

I typically ignore the Lightroom print module and use Qimage to print packages on paper rolls up to 24" wide. I also print directly from CS5 when I'm printing 16x20's and larger.

This will offer me another tool to explore as I have Fotofusion Extreme on my system and also need to get faster with it.

Thanks all! It was kinda fun. I've learned so much from You tube that I thought it was time to pay it back a little. It's seriously saved my butt on web building many many times! I soo appreciate free knowledge!

very good Aprli, thanks for sharing! Did you know you can also get a page size just by using a PDF Printer? Most people have a PDF printer and most can set a custom page size. Since you will just be printing to a jpg anyway, I would think the paper type and everything would not matter.

Nice video, April. Using the print module, I figured out how to put two verticals on a canvas and add my logo to one side. I sure couldn't have done it without Sonny's help. I remember it being ridiculously hard (for me, because I am dumb!)
