I can't figure out how to work this.
I have a thumbnail that says "1 of 2" when i roll over it. How do i see #2???

And in Aperture, once you make one adjustment it automatically creates a version. So you can easily click back and forth between the original and the one with adjustments. How do you do this in LR3?

So you created a virtual copy? Look at the next picture.

If you use two monitors, you can have them side by side. You can press the X/Y button under the library module for before/after.

Could you have stacked your images? If so, try unstacking.

HDR Effex Pro imported the new version.
I have two monitors but the x/y doesn't show the new one.

I have the hdr version on my hard drive and if i try to re-import it LR tells me it's already in the catalog. So it's there, but for some reason i can't see it. Still only see #1 (the original).

When i tell it to unstack the 1 of 2 thing goes away but still just leaves the original with no sign of version 2.

Ok, I finally figured it out... after months of this happening periodically!
Apparently there is a glitch in the software... at least my copy.
All i had to do was go to my library and click on a different job, then go back to this one and now stacks work as they should and I can see the new versions that were missing before. Collapse and Expand now work fine.
