Looking for a good book on CS5 & Lightroom3 - 12-17-2010, 11:19 AM

Just bought my wife the lastest and greatest CS5 & Lightroom 3 for Christmas, and I wanted to get a good book that covers both that she could read and look to if she has questions. Does anyone have any suggestion?

The one and only book you'll need for LR3

Doubt that you will find one that covers both although some of the processes learned in Lightroom can apply to CS5. Kelby's book is a good one.

Kelly's book will really teach you how to use LR, not just what the buttons do.

Kelby has a great reputation. If you have a question about something in the book, you can email NAPP for help.

I am more partial to watching than reading, Kelby has great videos on tutorials and Lynda.com has more video's. I have the pro-retouching and LR video's and love them.

Anything by Scott Kelby.

Another good book. Not CS5 specific, but good.

Layers: The Complete Guide to Photoshop’s Most Powerful Feature By Matt Kloskowski

One of Kelby's side kicks.
