Lightroom 3.3 Help - 01-07-2011, 08:59 AM

This issue started yesterday. In Lightroom 3.3 when I right click on an image and choose "Edit In" whatever application, it now goes straight into the app. Before I would get a menu with a couple of choices..."Edit a copy with Lightroom Adjustments", "Edit Original", etc...

Does anyone have any idea how to get that pop up to come back? I tried resetting All Warnings, but I guess that doesn't fall in that category.

Thanks for any help.

under edit>Preferences, you can specify the external editor. there is a tab that says "External editing"

The editors work fine. I can edit in CS5 and in Silver Efex without issues. The problem is that I'm missing the pop up screen that shows up before you send the photo into editor. For example, when I choose "Edit In" CS5, it opens right away. I don't get the options I used too.

Restore defaults perhaps? Some of those windows with options also have a button to click if you always want a particular option. "Don't show this again" is usually the way it is written.

I'm not sure if that one had that option, but I'll look into defaults. Thanks.

Here's the one at work. It doesn't have the never show again option. This is the menu that doesn't come up anymore.

I get the popup when I edit a .jpg but not for raw files, odd.

Here may be the difference: open a RAW file in LR and "edit in" = no options available.
open a jpeg or tif in LR and "edit in" = options available.
