And I don't know that my desktop would even run PSE9 very efficiently. I may look into that. Thanks guys.
You can leave PSE6 on your machine and download the free PSE9 trial without compromising your current version at all. I kept my previous version on my desktop for the whole trial period and each version worked fine as long as you didn't try to open both simultaneously.

Learn Photoshop Elements 9 - Using the Out of Bounds Effect with Guided Edit | Adobe TV

This video tutorial shows you how to do the out of bounds effect in four easy steps using Photoshop Elements 9.0 software .....

And if you don't have that version, you can download a free fully functioning 30 day trial at Adobe's website and try the guided edit yourself.

Highly recommended.

Oh wow, just watched the tutorial. That's is too cool and so easy to accomplish! This may convince me to upgrade to PSE9 on my desktop, but what about all the filters and effects I've downloaded over the years? How would I keep from losing them? Maybe I should ask that on another thread. Sorry.

Very cool work from everyone. I especially love the one of the kid on the table tennis (or is it ping-pong?) table. Wow!
