D7000 Raw - 02-08-2011, 11:33 PM

Okay... I looked but couldn't find anything ...

So, the studio that I work at picked up one of these as a second camera.

The main cameras went out for an out of town shoot and then I was called to shoot a quick corporate banquet. My boss told me to go ahead and take the new D7000. I was actually quite anxious to take this out, even though I was shooting a simple corporate banquet, I still wanted to see what I could do with it.

Anyways, I made it back to the studio yesterday, but didn't start messing with the photos until today.

Um ... I have Aperture 2 and CS5 ... but neither has a plug-in to run the D7000 Raw.

Does anyone know of a work around to get the Raw file from the D7000 readable on the software? Or do I have to wait til an update comes along. I heard that Lightroom 3 has the update ... but that's it.

Thanks.

At the moment, I pulled out the Nikon Software and exported a Tiff file from that and worked with that for the client. But would like to touch up the Raw files if I can for future use.

Hey Thanks, Allan.

I downloaded it and it works for CS5 Photoshop ... but not for Aperture 2 ... I have a feeling I am going to have to buy Aperture 3 now ... unless someone tells me otherwise.
