Have idea need help executing it! - 02-09-2011, 05:22 AM

Can anyone help me with the execution of an idea.

I want to take a photo and make it look like a bullet hole almost like those cling ons you can get for your vehicle, I have cs3 so trying to create the hole and peel back the layers to make it look like a bullet hole.

Any ideas?

It is early and I haven't had a my coffee yet. So I am confused. What kind of photo do you want to look like a bullet hole? See in my mind you either have a photo of a bullet hole or you want to create an object in PS to look like a bullet hole. Like I said, I haven't had my coffee yet. SO are you wanting to create bullet holes say in a photo of a car? The surface that you want to put it on will effect the steps in PS.

Janice sorry to make you think this hard so early and especially without coffee LOL!

Here is the idea. I haven't taken the photo yet but imagine two pistols laying with the barrels cross each other at the top in an "X" pattern and in the middle of the bottom I want to put a bullet hole like the photo was shot and the edges are peel back (like the bullet holes cling-ons you can get for your vehicle) I want to insert a photo inside the bullet hole.

I hope that helps and you have gotten your coffee on this cold winter snowy morning.

Not sure if this will help or not but how about some bullet hole brushes.

I think saw few tutorials as well via Google.

you could always shoot some metal, take photos of it, then photochop it into your shot.

or you could purchase stock imagery of it from some place like www.istockphoto.com, then photochop that into any shot.
