Microsoft ICE ROCKS! It reads RAW files too.

wow, that is very good panormaic software

I have been using Panorma Factory and Adobe CS4 ... Microsoft ICE is amazing compared to both of these

As for MACs, sure there is a place for them but not on my desk. My daughter has both, when she needs to get work done she uses the Windows based machine. When she wants to look cool, she uses the MAC.

ICE doesn't come with instructions. It always starts in Auto mode. After it makes a first pass, you can select a different stitching scheme. I find Horizontal Cylinder works most of the time. Click the little Isometric Cube on the menu bar. Apply the desired stiching scheme. Zoom for fit. Adjust the middle horizontally & vertically. Apply. Crop as required. Export as TIFF. Done.

In the alley with my LeicaBerry.

It does if you have the correct Codec thingie installed. Go back to the Microsoft pages for ICE and read their instructions. It worked for me. What operating system are you running? I am running Windows XP and had to download the current .NET Framework & XP Service Pack 3 to make it all play nice together.

Codec link:

Can you force the 32-bit codec to load in 32bit area, and then force ICE to run as 32bit? (I only have 32-bit computers at home)

You can install the 32 bit version of ICE and use the 32 bit codec. I haven't done that myself, but that should work.

For $10 you can buy a pack with 32 & 64 bit Codecs for virtually every camera under the sun.
Or switch to Olympus or Sony. Grinning.

Sorry. The link to the $10 Codec pack is broken.
