Portrait Professional - 03-05-2011, 02:20 PM

Hey guys,

A friend of mine told me about a program called "Portrait Professional" (Portrait Professional - Easy Photo Editing Software). Has anyone used this program? Is it worth the price? Any information will be helpful.

Thanks,

Stephen

It's fast, easy, and does a good job. I think only photographers would find fault. Clients appreciate it. Money well spent.

It's great and easy to use. Just be careful it's easy to over-process an image.I guess that's true with any editing.

I used it on six images on my last shoot and they all were purchased.

I've been reading about and will purchase it tonight. One question: Is it a software delivered to the house or is it usable after downloading after purchase?
I know about the free trial.
Thanks

but here's the problem....I'm having tons of issues w/ my computer and probably have to take it in for a major clean up . I don't want to miss this great deal /39.99 and I'm afraid if I download and activate, then after the clean up, I won't be able to use it or will I?

When you purchase, you get an activation key. It's an alpha-numeric string (iow, a bunch of letters and numbers), 26 characters long IIRC. Write it down, save a text file to a flash drive, just record it some way or other. Even if your computer blows up, all you have to do once you get it working again is d/l the latest PP version & install it. Early into the install you'll be asked to enter the key. Do so and waa-la, the program will be working.

So don't worry, go ahead & grab the discount. Just keep the key someplace besides on the computer!

X2

This goes for any software you purchase online. In many cases after you make the purchase you will be e-mailed a link to that company's download link (for purchases only) and given a simple word doc/text file with the activation key.

Just keep all your online purchased software is a safe place like a USB drive as described above or burn them on a CD for later use should an issue happen with your computer later in life.

I would go ahead and buy it. That's a great deal. If you're like me and shoot lots of portraits, it's a great program. Get the Studio 64 bit Version 10. I am certainly no computer wiz and for me it's fast and easy to use.
