Playing with LR3. - 03-20-2011, 10:25 AM

Sorry if this has been beat around before, I was away for awhile. I bought a 7D about 9-10 days ago and today I decided to shoot in RAW and downloaded the trial version of LR3 before buying it. I'm new to RAW and LR3 and if I have 10,000 clicks under my belt in JPG, I'm lucky. So I'm pretty much still a noobie.

What I'm asking is probably more of a C&C question rather than a software question.

It's very overcast today and I just wanted to get some clicks in for practice. I was short on time and the subject matter made little difference to me, I just wanted to play in RAW and play with LR3.

Am I overdoing it?

Thanks.

It looks a bit oversaturated to me.

Give us the screen shots of your sliders and numbers.
I am working hard on making my photos print right with NO Lightroom adjustments. I'm getting close. I may not get there because RAW & TIFF files always need some help. The trick is to sneak up on the tweaking. Just enough as opposed to overkill.
