This is what I use most all of the time and with the student discount LR3 is only $99. I also purchased Photoshop CS5, but use it rarely and only got it because I could get it for $199 with the student discount also.

BTW, if you didn't know, on these products you can run them on two machines with one license if one is a mobile computer. I have each loaded on both my laptop and my desktop.

Photoshop is great, and a wise investment, if you dedicate the time to learn it. There are tons of online resources and books to help you along the way.

Agreed. My philosophy: If I can't get it done with Lightroom, I don't need to do it. Or, I need to make better pictures in the camera. You can get Lightroom on the same 30 day trial and similar educational discounts as the other Photoshop products.
