Found - Old Negatives - 05-12-2011, 08:49 PM

Guess I'll find out if this is the correct place to post this.

I got rid of all my old darkroom gear years ago. I am totally digital now and have been for some time.

But - this last weekend, the wife and I were cleaning out an old closet and I came across some negatives - from 1969. They look in good shape and were stored properly.

My question is this - anybody know of a good place to have them scanned? I want a good high rez scan - I would think a good drum scan would be what's needed. They were taken with a Canon FT-QL (top line camera in those days) and Canon lenses.

Of course, if there is anybody on the TPF who might want to do it for a small fee, that's cool to.

Thanx -

Doug,
Somebody on this forum mentioned a scanning service recetly. The price was very reasonable. I would opt for bulk priced decent scans at first. If any of the photos beg for the best then you only pay for a few high quaity scans. The difference is pennies versus major bucks. Seacrh here For scanning service.

Doesn't matter. All are welcome. We won't look in your camera bag. Grinning.
