Lightroom 2 Book I Chose... - 03-18-2009, 08:56 AM

I went to Barnes & Noble last night to look for a good Lightroom 2 book since I've noticed that my workflow has become much smoother and faster even though I havent used LR a whole lot. So I figured with a book I can learn how to really amp up my knowledge in LR since post processing seems to be my weak link in photography, I simply hate doing it because I am so slow at it. hehe..

Plus another reason I wanted to get a book is because Im sure Sonny is tired of fielding my "How do I (fill in blank) in Lightroom?" phone calls. Ha!

So anyways I thought I would share the 3 books I looked over last night in case you guys may be interested in a similar book as well. These were the only ones I saw that were in depth as I wanted, All Lightroom 2 books on Amazon can be found HERE.

This is the one I chose, I paid list which was $49.99 (ouch!) and then I see it's available through Amazon for about $28. FAIL. Hehe.

Another vote for "The Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 2 Book: The Complete Guide for Photographers". This is the manual that years ago would have shipped with the program. I find the Kelby Books do a good job of telling you how to do specific things (and in the process you learn how the software works) while in this case the Adobe book IS the manual for the software.
