Photoshop Elements help - 07-27-2011, 09:36 PM

I am hoping someone here will understand what Im wanting to do and be able to help me out. I have a picture of a girl standing near the end of a short tunnel. I took the shot from further inside the tunnel so some of the tunnels walls are showing. I am wanting to blend in different pictures on each side of the tunnel wall. I know how to get other pictures to go on the main layer but Im wanting the shots to looks as if they are part of the wall with the angles of the picturs to match the angles and lines of the walls. I cant figure out how to reshape the pictures. Anyone out there able to help me out?

I know you can free transform in PS, but I don't know if that's available in PSE. Sounds like that's what you need to "reshape" the image so you can angle it to match the wall.

Well, I just checked my version of PSE9, which I hardly use anymore, and it does have transform.

Now, do the older versions have it, that I cannot say.

But I would think that with the free transform, some layer mask, and blending, you could probably get what you're looking for out of PSE9.

Hit control T and then you can stretch it to what shape you want. I have PSE6, and it works.

Thanks for the help folks. I hit control T, then right clicked in the picture and it gave me a few options and "Perspective" is the one that allowed me to shape the picture so that its lines match up with the lines of the tunnel. Now I just have to figure out how to fade the picture so that it looks like its on the tunnel wall, as if it was somehow printed on the wall.
