Calendar layout / graphic design referral

Currently I'm engaged with a non-profit dog rescue organization. Their big fund raiser every year is a calendar full of pictures of the dogs from their rescue. The proceeds from this calendar generate the majority of the capital to keep their operation afloat. The photographer and graphic designer that usually do this for them have opted out this year, and I have picked up the photography responsibilities.

We need a graphic designer (I think) to put together the calendar layout, add all the little blurbs about the dogs' stories, put in the advertisers' logos, merge the photos into the pages, etc.

Two questions:

1) Does anyone know a graphic designer who would be willing to pitch in for something like this? Their company name/logo would be prominently displayed on the cover.

2) Where would I even start looking for a person like this? I thought about contacting the local printers in town to see if they had recommendations, and I thought I'd ask here as well.

Perhaps a UT graphic design student would be intertested. Gaining experience and exposure doing pro-bono work is much better than being taken advantage of by some Craigslist cheapa$$ who wants to get rich at the designer's expense.

Reminds me of when I did a calendar for BACA, Biker's Against Child Abuse. I shot all the photos and designed the whole calendar. Definitely takes some time. Good luck!
