Fixed: LR catalog won't open

This is a discussion on Fixed: LR catalog won't open within the Post Processing Central forums, part of the Photography Information category; Problem right out of left field... LR won't open my main catalog. I get a message that another program already ...

Exclamation Fixed: LR catalog won't open - 09-04-2011, 05:26 PM

Problem right out of left field... LR won't open my main catalog. I get a message that another program already has it open so I need to close that program and try again. However, no other program is open. I can get into LR via another catalog but cannot switch to the main one. Open to suggestions.

Windows 7 Professional with updates
Lightroom latest version with updates

Never mind. Found the fix quicker than I thought. I had to go into the catalog folder and delete the "lock" file associated with the catalog. All is well now.

I've been so busy lately that I haven't even had time for shooting outside of a couple of assignments. We'll get to it soon. I'll let you know.
