Lightroom Help Needed - 01-23-2012, 08:54 AM

I have Lightroom 2, but now that I have a new camera it won't read the .nef files. I know I will need a newer version, but do I have to purchase Lightroom or is there a way to pay less for just an update?

Thanks,
Brandon

Do you have the latest version of 2? It should be 2.7. What camera did you get?

I'm not at home to look, but I think it's 2.0 or maybe 2.2. cameras is a D7000.

A beta for the replacement for Lightroom 3 is out now. You may want to hold out for it instead of upgrading twice.

Ok, the D7000 was brought in ACR version 6.2 which is LR version 3. So Either get LR3 or get the beta for LR4.
