    i downloaded the beta - the content aware patch tool is worth the price of the upgrade - I also love acr7

    I don't know the cost, except that if you don't go 5 (or 5.5) to 6, when 7 comes out 5 to 7 will be full price as they have transitioned from 3 versions back to upgrade, to one version back.

    If you try the beta and don't go to 6, does it uninstall and leave you back where you were cleanly?

    Adobe backtracked on this after getting a well deserved public lambasting on the internet (I think Scott Kelby got it started). So if you have CS3, CS4 or CS5, you'll qualify for the upgrade.

    Yes to CS6, but to get to CS7 you'll need 6 or will pay more.
