Angry PTP USB mode for D70s in CS2 - 01-11-2007, 05:48 PM

ha! thats a lot of acronyms in the subject line... anyway, does anybody know how to view the pictures you take with a d70s as you take them?

There's the PTP USB mode setting on the camera and you can go to "File > Import > WIA-D70s..." and i think that's where the pictures that you take, as you take them are supposed to come out.

Does anybody know what i'm talking about and/or have any idea if this and how this is possible?

Thanks beforehand!

I use to project mine on a 13" TV when I used the D70s. Don't remember the exact steps but they are in your manul and are easy to follow as I remember.
For a computer should be the same process. If this is what you are asking.

You can use Nikon Capture 4.x (the old one), or the new Nikon Camera Control Pro.

I don't *think* that you can do what you want directly in PS - but I could be wrong.

you should be able to just open an explorer window and go to the drive letter it assigns the camera and they should refresh as you shoot, i know this works on a d200 and it should work on a d70 as well

I think maybe for a projector or TV you can use the video out output from the camera.... i THINK, but i'll check when i get home.

i don't think I can take pictures when the camera's USB is set to Mass Storage, which is how the drive would show up in my computer, otherwise, if the USB is set to PTP I can take pictures, but can't access the drive... :(
