I'm glad to see that Stephen and I have a similar opinion. When I looked at his work I thought "hmm, high radius low sharpening to bring up local contrast and emphasize edges a bit, desaturation, and excellent use of lighting dependent on the look he's going for in each photo." I however hadn't heard the phrase hiraloam before, now I can put a word to a technique I've known of for a while! Obviously he IS good at photoshop though, as several of his images are reasonably complex composites.
Edit: of course, he might also employ someone to do his post work for him

Then, his statements would be even more accurate!
