HELP PS and VISTA - 02-25-2007, 03:05 PM

Hello all I need serious help lol.
I got a new computer yesterday my old one was junked. I wasn't given choice of replacement cause I wasn't leaving without a computer lol.
Any way the new computer has Vista. I have PSE3 they aren't compatible. Any word on when they will be or if I should just upgrade if there is a version that works with Vista now?
TIA

Just install XP Pro SP2 and wait Vista isn't ready for anything but heartburn.

Just right click on the exe or the setup file and choose properties, then click the compatibility tab and then put a check mark in the box that says run this program in compatibility mode then choose windows xp sp2. I have no problems in running very old software, even after that compatibility warning pops up.

What happens when you try to run the program? Or can you not even install it?

I'm wondering what exactly isn't compatible, or if you are just getting a warning message and have not tried to click the "Run anyway" button or whatever.

I know I get a warning trying to run the Citrix Web Client, but if I tell it to run anyway, it works fine.

Thanks
I have it installed but when I go to open the catalog it says it can't. But I can get the preset edit page to open. I haven't done anything else with it though.
So I have the icon on the computer and parts of it works but not all.
I hope this makes sense and sorry for all of the ??s etc...

Brezy, from the desktop <what you get when you boot up> right click on the icon for PS3. Then left click on "properties" then follow the rest of DarkTigers instructions.
