Restoring color on an old photo

A friend of mine asked if I could do anything with this photo of her son, I have no idea how to correct this kind of thing....could someone lead me in the right direction?

you could try the kodak digital roc plugin for photoshop - it works great on these types of pictures..

These aren't perfect, but I spent a couple minutes with Lightroom. There was no blue layer left, so it's hard to bring that out, but it is a little better.

Edit - I removed the color one... it sucked...

The hardest thing to colorize is blonde hair I have decided.

Go to http://www.photoworkshop.com/adobe/s...ema/index.html and click on the Adobe Photoshop CS and CS2 link then click on Katrin Eismann and the Image Restoration Repair and Enhancement, extreme color correction.

It will blow you mind when you see how easy it is.
