Open Source Image De-Noising Command Line software - 03-06-2007, 10:41 AM

Don't know how many of you are ./ readers and since I frequent this wedding forum more often I thought I'd post this here so you guys know. Mod please move if this is not the right place.

Grab this from ./ about a free de-noise tool and here's a demo page from the devs themselves. Looks very promising, and for free. Just the learning curve might be a bit much for those are not used to command-line tools. Hopefully a GUI version will be out soon.

Edit: I spoke too soon, here's the GUI version of the software for Windows:
1. GUI by Jaap Bruinsma
2. GUI by Jean Van Laethem

I moved it over to Post-Processing Central... it's a better fit here, since denoising is something almost everyone can benefit from.

Nice find, ngoduyviet!

Edd,
This is a free noise-removal software, and someone wrote a Graphical User Interface for the tool to make it easier to use. The link is where you can download it. I'm testing it so really have no idea how well it works yet. Check out their demo page, the algorithm seems to work really well.
