Smooth Face - 03-25-2007, 10:02 AM

I've checked previous threads and didn't see this...hope I didn't miss it. How do y'all fix these faces to make people's skin look so much better than it really does. I know how to fix a little spot, but how do you smooth the entire thing??

There are a variety of methods... some people run noise reduction software on it multiple times.. there are other plugins that do air brushing.. some do it by hand using an air brush tool... I have a method that appears to be unique to Paint Shop Pro (because I haven't found an equivalent brush in Photoshop yet).

The bottom line, though, is there is no easy way to explain it on the forum.... its better if someone shows you. :)

Here is a link that might help. It has a video and you can also purchase the action from this site.

I'm with Jeff. A very reasonable investment for the action and the tutorial on YouTube is great. It shows a lot more than just using the action. Here is the link to the tutorial: http://www.youtube.com/results?searc...=photoshopmama

Here is an example of what using the tutorial/action will do: http://www.texasphotoforum.com/galle...35&ppuser=4741

Best to you.
