Certainly looks like it works for upgrades. I'm upgrading from Elements and it had a spot for the promotion code. Darktiger - YOU ROCK!!! Thanks for all the software promotion heads ups!

Definitely works for the upgrade. Saved about $30.00 which was enough to offset the state sales tax. And they don't charge your card until it ships (or until you d/l it if you get it that way).

Academic versions are NOT upgradeable from their license agreement! Keep that in mind.

Thanks for the code!! When I was at the Radiant Vista event in Austin recently, they used a demo of CS3 when working with the RAW images. I am really excited with the changes that were shown.

I don't think this is correct. Adobe Education FAQ

You are able to continue to use your Education version serial number when you leave school to upgrade to future commercially priced versions if you want to, rather than having to buy the next “full” version. So you save money now while you are a student, and also after you graduate!

Anyone know how many different computers I can load the program on legally? I'm thinking home, laptop, and work?

I think you'll be OK, they have a thin candy shell. I'm surprised you didn't know that.

You only can have two machines activated legally, but are not supposed to use them at the same time.

Any idea how long this coupon is good for? And what is the general consensus on the Extended version of CS3? I'm thinking that I wouldn't use the extra features of extended.

Thanks Scott! I'm barely talented enough to try one at a time for now, though! Can you get an additional license for a third machine or anything like that?
