Help please - Adobe Camera Raw - 04-16-2007, 02:58 PM

I used 2 different bodies on a shoot last week (20D and 30D). I shot everything RAW, and dumped all the images to 1 directory. Then in ACR, I tried to batch resize from the RAW files to a small JPG to post on the web (1k pixels wide, 72dpi). It looked like everything processed (there were 142 images, and the status said 142 images processed). However, the images from the 20D were not sized down to 72dpi, and remained the full 3k pixels wide. I've never had this problem when using files from just 1 camera. Does anybody know what could be the problem? Could it be the slightly different formats of RAW files from 20D to 30D? Any help would be appreciated.

I've never seen that before. Do you have all the latest updates for CS2?

Probably not. I had it on my old computer(which I probably got the updates), and I just re-installed/transferred the registration on my new computer. I'll try getting the updates & see if that fixes it.

Thanks,

No problem. That's definitely a weird one. If anything, you'd think the newer 30D images would be the issue.

Raw files are different from camera to camera. This would be my first suspicion. The DNG format is the way to go.
