Thumbs up Cs2 - 04-18-2007, 08:25 AM

Wow! I'm just now getting into CS2 (late bloomer). I didn't realize the enormous benefit from switching to CS2 from CS. If you haven't made the switch, I highly recommend you do it! I usually wait awhile when new versions of software come out. Thank you Peter Krogh and The DAM book for opening my eyes and showing the err of my ways.

YOu know they just came out with CS3 don't ya? And from what I've heard people love CS3 even more than CS2.

CS3 is again as much better than CS2 is over CS.

The RAW converter alone is worth the price of the upgrade.

If you upgraded from CS to CS2 within the last 30 days, you should get a free upgrade to CS3. Just call Adobe with your registration information and they will be happy to help you. I did that exact thing when CS went to CS2. Nice folks on the phone. Best tech support I've dealt with in many years.

Good luck!

Yea, I knew that about CS3. I try to refrain from jumping on new software until it has been test driven in the public. I had problems with that issue in the past.

Sounds good Scott! From what I'm learning about the RAW file format, DNG is the future. I look forward to getting CS3.
