Unhappy Spyder2Express Monitor Calibration...Please Help! - 04-21-2007, 02:35 PM

I was having serious color issues so finally bought a Spyder2Express Monitor Calibration. I couldn't believe the difference...worked great! But...I have had serious issues with my PC ever since I installed it. My PC would never shut down...every time I would try to shut it down, it would restart. And then when it came back on, I got a message saying that it had recovered from a fatal error. I uninstalled Spyder and my pc seems better. So what do I do? I can't find an updated version of my Spyder software to install. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

Sound like you might need to run virus check.

I had some similar problems that wound up being due to a virus and not the Spyder Sofware.

Thanks, Darrell. I did run Norton and it was clean. As soon as I took the Spyder software off, everything went back to normal. I sent a help ticket to Color Vision...still waiting to hear from them.
