I wonder if Adobe made them pull the plug on that. There is a lot of history of manufacturers being very upset at Wal-Mart's pricing.

Good luck trying to do battle with those guys.

It was that price a day or two after I ordered.

Might be worth filling a complaint with the AG's office and you can do it on line.

He might see taking a shot at Wal-Mart a good political move.

I wouldn't waste my time doing this. It took me all of 30 seconds to look up their terms of use policy on the web site. As thought, Walmart invested good money in legal consultation beforehand to cover issues such as this.

I got a confirmation on my order on March 25th.
Today I also got the same cancellation notice.

In the past, I thought the retailer was obligated to honor the advertized price.
The fact that they have it available now at a higher price is bull*@*t.

Same thing happened to me. Not happy w/ Walmart. This explains why I don't shop at their stores anymore and now so-long walmart.com!

I dislike Walmart for a lot of reasons. This is but a blip on my radar.

Targeting small biz in small towns to put them out of business with cheap imported crap is more my "prob" with them. Small town America isn't the same anymore. Hard to make a go at it anymore. Family businesses no more.. Blah blah.. sorry I digress..

Still, people choose where to shop. If people did not want low prices then Walmart would not be as popular as it is. Doesnt matter, I shop a targets, randells, central market and costco...

Sounds like we're on the verge of full-blown Wal-Mart bashing here.

Tom - seems to me that what they did was wrong. I would report it to the AG as was suggested before and then let it go. Not much going to come of it anyway but at least you will have done due diligence by reporting it.

Consumers rule and where they decide to shop will determine who stays in business.
When small higher priced businesses in small towns go out of business it is the local consumer who decided to buy the lowerpriced items. Capitalism is what it is and the consumer will continue to determine who they will support.

Called them up and spoke to a real live human. After a little friendly debate, they decided to honor the original order.
