How cute! I'm curious, how did you modify this picture, Billy? I love frogs!

Hi Therese. well the original picture is at 1600ISO and I took it late in the evening and was really noisy, I actually modified it a lot....there was only one frog so I changed that and then changed the water to remove the noise. I am going to try to get a good frog picture tomorrow.

Ah ha-that's what I was wondering-the amount of frogs that were actually there. You did well with the adjustments. I wouldn't have a clue what to do with that sort of thing.

Billy,

Cute!

I find it very difficult to photograph frogs. As soon as they see me (and they always see me first), all I get is the plop, splash and no frog to see.

If you figure out how to catch 'em, let me know some tips please.

Patti

That image could be the kind that ends up all over the web...

If that's the only pic you have so far then you ain't doing too bad for a start. It'll be hard to beat.
Nice work!

Thanks everyone, I took another frog picture this morning. I took it from my van using ergorest. Patti, you can drive up besides them and they don't go anywhere but when I tried to walk up to them they dissapeared. Here's the one from this morning

I took that picture on the sholder of the road next to the water...I was driving real slow and looking next to the bank. I was probably 6-8 feet away from the frog. I really like the eye.

This is a crop and I had to reduce it down to post....If you look real close in the eye, you can see my car.
