Flower Coming out of Ear - 06-13-2007, 02:46 PM

I have a photo that I have a small problem with. Its a picture of my sister and her husband, and she likes the pose and all, but she doesn't like the flower and how its oddly shaped and also appears to come out of her ear.

I've thought about it and I tried to adjust the phot by casting a heavier shadow on the flower. My thinking is that this will create a separation between the ear and the flower so it won't cause it to appear to come out of her ear.

I think I may not have done such a good job however. You guys and look and see. Any other suggestions on what to do with the flower?

Why not clone it out? If she doesn't like it anyway, then it wouldn't be missed and you don't have to worry about "fixing" it.

i thought about raising her head and extending her neck but i am not that much of a photoshop pro

here is a version where i removed out some petals, it feels better, but still a little odd

I think the flower should go. The color doesn't look good with her dress in addition to the other problem.

You might just loose the flower completly. In this image it detracts from the faces and adds nothing to the image. At least, that's my opinion. Also, their eyes are just a tad dark. Still, this is a wonderful image.
