I thought I would see what I could do with this image#1, the second image is what I came up with and I used the lens flare. Feel free to see what you can do.

Very cool processing. A huge improvement... Although, the first thing that I thought of was that either the bird's about to be abducted, or it's being run down by a motorcycle.

I like the effect that filter can give but I don't think it really works here. I'm not really one for shooting birds, but I wouldn't think you would get a flare like that off the water. Usually flare like that works best when you have a sky as the background. That's just my opinion though.
