Little Off-Topic question about CS2 - 06-28-2007, 09:50 AM

okay, this is a little off topic but hope maybe some of you guys know. I use Corel Draw 11 at work alot. I have a trophy/award store and I use it to setup my engravings, etc on plaques, crystal, etc...

Anyway, a customer sent me their logo today that I need to convert to a EPS so I can engrave it. So they sent me an EPS file but I cannot open it with Corel Draw, but it will open in CS2. But it doesnt seem to be a vector, seems more like just a jpg type file, although it ends in EPS..

how can I convert this to vector and transfer it to Corel Draw? I just got CS2 a couple days ago and dont really know my way around it... thanks

It's extended (sometime encapsulated) post script. It may contain BOTH vector and raster data. Bolt, I don't know enough about Corel, but i think I would try opening it in illustrator and writing a illustrator file (.ai) and reading that via corel...

I wish I could help more...
