Need Advice - 07-06-2007, 01:11 PM

Not sure which section to put this in - so please move if it needs it.

I am strictly a hobby photographer. And I want to know where a good place to get pictures developed is. I would like someplace I can send them to from online and pick up in store. I have tried wal-mart but am not impressed.
Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Developed as in printed from digital files? MPIX is great for that, but they're not a store (they ship to you).

I also love MPIX and they have a very quick turn around.

Otherwise Walgreens (if you have to pick up)

I have been very happy with Costco thus far if you have one nearby. They will allow you to download printer profiles specific to the store and you can opt to turn off any auto-correct their machines do. They print on Fujicolor Crystal Archive Paper and have great prices.

I've heard good things about Costco but have no experience with them. Mpix rocks

Thanks for all the great info.
I don't have a Costco nearby, so I think I will give mpix a try.
