MPIX! It's the consumer branch of Miller's, and has very good quality and fast service.

I use WHCC for my pro lab prints on metallic or extra large canvas or bulk proofs.
I print my own on anything less than 13x19 and in small batches.

However, my wife uses Costco. I am not a fan of the color she gets (somewhat muted) compared to my own prints on R2400 or WHCC that match very well to my calibrated screen.

I don't discourage her using Costco though as she spends a ton on 4x6 prints of anything and everything. They're fine for snapshots. I don't use em for mine though.

Adorama has a good service too. They have some specials for larger prints too...

Walmart's fine for snapshots you need NOW... but don't ever try Kinko's. They are terrible. And I don't say that about many vendors...

MPIX is my primary printer but if I need something immediately I have been very happy with Walgreens, sometimes I print at home but I am not confident in the colors as of yet that I am getting there. But I know how I can tests this now.

I like Mpix. If I am printing a bunch of 4 x 5's (not for sale) I use the print service of my photo host (FOTKI).

I've also used, with no complaints,

West Coast Imaging
WHCC.

Millers mainly, Mpix for somethings.

Use the local camera shop for my snapshot stuff.

I have a saying when it comes to prints - I don't get prints made where I can buy tires, food or medicine.

I also have to recommend MPIX. MPIX allows me to color correct the picture instead of someone else so that I know I will receive the pictures the way I want them to appear. If I need a picture sooner, then I will use Ritz/Wolf Camera(although the color is sometimes desatured). HTH

We go through Millers, MPIX, and WHCC - depending on the order and my mood at the time...
