Out of curiosity, who else here is using Bibble - either Pro or Lite - for their RAW processing? If you're a fellow Bibble user, are you using the application itself, or the PS plugin? My use of Bibble stemmed from being a long time Linux user, and having no other acceptable RAW solution. Bibble got bonus points for a) support and b) being fully cross platform. Now I run it (Pro) on my XP laptop, my Macbook Pro, and one of my Linux desktops.
The addition of user supplied plugins has also rocked my world, and I find myself doing very little at all outside of Bibble. Usually by the time I send my images through a batch to JPG, they're where I want them without further editing anywhere else.

likewise, dodge and burn, or if I actually need to do any real "healing" - the one tool in Bibble I find completely useless is their spot heal tool.

Yes, I use Bibble too. Normally that's all I need, not too big into photoshopping. Hopefully the long awaited version 5 will come out soon.

I'm just hoping it isn't too cool, so I don't have to endure the even longer wait to redeploy from Iraq so I can use it.

Well, I think it was announced sometime last year, so who knows when they'll actually release it. It seems that it is not in the very near future.
Thanks for serving - from someone who just a few years ago became an American.

Been using Bibble Pro for the last 4 or 5 months now. It has streamlined my workflow and has saved me a ton of time in post. Love it.

Thanks Florian. They did announce they were working on 5 quite some time ago, with the additional bit that they would not release it until absolutely certain it rocked. I've been waiting for a while now. I just hope they don't release it as soon as I get back to Iraq. If they do, I might just have to get my commo friends to DL it for me!

I'm using it the stand alone version. The only thing I'm using PS for now is burning edges, B&W conversions and other little special effects. I've cut my post time in half since I started using it.

If you're doing a lot of B&W conversions you might take a look @ the Andy plugin from nexi.com for Bibble (4.9.5). The free version is cool, the pay version is like $10 and about 800% more awesome. I've got a number of the plugins and they really open up the capabilities of the software a lot.

I have been using bibble pro for about 1 1/2 years now. I really do not use Photoshop at all ,except with what was said above.
I really could use more plugins. Do you have links to the available plugins? besides what is on there site?

I've been using bibble pro for about the same amount of time. The plugins I have are the ones on the site, they're all from Sean Puckett. The ones I specifically have follow:
AndyPRO, SiggyPRO, SadiePRO, RoyPRO, SharpiePRO, TonyPRO, GinaPRO, AnselPRO, Deejay, MarkyPRO and Matty.
I don't tend to use Sadie (Saturation Control), Roy (Color Correction), Deejay (Channel Mixer), or Matty very often. My workflow tends to involve Siggy (Exposure Control), then Ansel (Image Zoning, think Ansel Adams) if needed, followed by Sharpie (Sharpening/Blur), if I've got skin tones I want to smooth out or balance, I'll run Gina - though it can be time consuming to keep the tone true, but acceptably blemish free and smooth. From there, I'll do any toning or the B&W conversion with either Tony or Andy.
By far my favorite plugin is Andy (B&W film simulation), if you read the technical explanation of what he's done to make the plugin, it's nothing short of amazing. The pro version gets you some added adjustment, as well as a wider variety of film and paper sims. I definitely love it.

I just bought Bibble Pro. I like it and find it easy to use. Waiting to see what v5 will bring.
