(speaking from PSP9)

create a new layer, paste the logo into the new layer, adjust the layer's transparency/opacity

Ken is correct in how you can put it on. You can also export your watermark as a picture tube, just make sure it has a transparent background.

Can you copy and past the logo in Corel Draw then past it in PSP? YOu may need to eliminate the background to make transparent.

damn...and here I thought it was gonna be something simple

I've been really enjoying PSP Photo XI myself. A trial came with my laptop, and for 65 bucks it does pretty much everything that Photoshop does. I'm very happy with it right now.

Maybe I need to break out the CD and use the tutorials from lynda.com lol

MIke you should be able to save in in corel as a jpg format then open it in Psp and they are correct just paste it as a new layer and adj opacity you may have to open the logo and select the background then invert selection and copy so its on a transparent background if its not saved that way, I like psp but it WONT DO ACTIONS grrrrrrrr thats the only thing i dont like about it

thanks David I actually saved it as a tiff and then opened it in psp. and yes I had to go in and delete the background to make transparent. Now if I could only figure out how to make it look embossed into the photo instead of placed on top of it.

Oh I got my cope off of ebay for 30.00

One way you can get it to look like it is embossed is to select it then float it. Make a new layer, then go Effects, 3d effect and select cutout. Set it the vertical and horizontal offset to 1 or 2, opacity to 75, and blur to 0 and the color as white. Then on the same layer add a drop shadow with the same settings but the color as black. Tehn you can delete the layer your original watermark is on. YOu end up with something like this.

I created my logo in PSP, saved it has a picture tube. That way I can use it graphics for letterheads, invoices, business card, my website, you name it's there.

When I created the watermarked it I followed the steps I told you above. Most likely I wold create my watermark by itself then save it has a picture tube and it is already to go.

PSP has scripts instead of Actions, but you're right.. its not compatible with Photoshop actions.

Mike: if its a monochromatic logo, you can also export it as a Brush... that's how I did the 360 Studios logo I've been using lately.
