mirror image

This is a discussion on mirror image within the Post Processing Central forums, part of the Photography Information category; is it possible to create a mirror image of an image in ps elements 5??? i tried the help section ...

is it possible to create a mirror image of an image in ps elements 5???
i tried the help section w/o any luck...thought i would ask around.

Not sure about elements, and there maybe an easier way than this, but it works in PS.

Enlarge window to make some working room, Duplicate layer, select new layer, Grab center left or right handle and drag across the image until it flips. Now align image back up with bottom layer or background color.
Hope that helps. BTW, I've been teaching my 15 year old PS for a couple of years, and I needed to mirror something the other day. This is how she taught me.

Sure am glad I didn't immediately post a reply. I could do it using menu commands but that is soooo much faster and easier than using menu commands! Smart 15 year old you've got there!

Select all>>Transform>>Flip horizontal

This works for me.
