A 6 Hour and 40 Minute Multi-Segment Downloadable Training Video with Michael Reichmann and Jeff Schewe.

It's just 34.95 and will help support the The Luminous Landscape Endowment.

It's also killing Michael's server.

Have you viewed it? What were your thoughts on it?

I bought Schewe's fine-art printing e-book last year and it was good. But I'm a little worried that this video might be basically the same content in which case it wouldn't be worth the price for me.

a second round of 'but is it any good?' All the reviews go on about how experienced the people speaking are and what a good cause/ cheap price it is.

Nobody mentions if the content is useful or not.

I've not viewed it yet. Waiting until I have time and the server isn't so loaded.

I was also wondering if the download is worth the hassle? The price seems reasonable.

Here are some comments about the video on The Online Photographer.
http://theonlinephotographer.typepad...ff-and-mi.html
Ken Tanakas comments..."...there is a lot of relatively low-value banter. But it seems a bit more structured than the usual Mike 'n' Jeff show and contains some useful pointers. So I recommend buying this series if a) you are an avid photo post-processor and printer of late-beginner / intermediate skill level and b) have access to a very good broadband connection to the Internet."

"I watched the promo clip of this video and I must say it seemed to be two old fogeys waffling on, with one of them bored out of his mind. I am about to contact them and see if they can't put something more informative in the promo clip."

In general, I don't care much for videos. Most subjects I can learn much more efficiently with a good book. Based on Tanaka's comments I think that will be the case here.

Anyone else have a more positive review ? Are Ken's comments too harsh ??
