Since I got CS3, I have been getting two different files under CS3. One says "CRW_0617" and the other files will say "CRW_0604.THM" . I cannot figure out how to get the THM file opened. Occasionally I will get them opened accidentally , but I dont' understand why they are different. Is it because their are different cameras 10D and 5D??? How do I get the HTM open??/

I believe the .thm files are just thumbnails of the actual image.

I have been able to recover deleted files from flash media using FileRecovery Professional (http://www.lc-tech.com/software/frprodetail.html) I am not associated with this company and do not know if it will work for you, but it's been a good investment for me.

I work for a computer repair shop, and time and time again data recovery from the software company Stellar Phoenix recovers files that others will not. I have never used their media card data recovery software, but you can download a trial of the software and it will give you file names, it just won't let you recover them...so it lets you know if it will even find the files, before you invest money.

Here is the link.
