Adding film grain in CS2 - 08-05-2007, 11:30 PM

Anyone have tips for adding grain in CS2? I've tried the actual "film grain" filter but I'm not very happy with the results and am looking for other options.

Thanks,
Cindy

I use the Alien Skin Exposure plug-in. Gives you control of where the grain goes (highlights, midtones, & shadows) as well as how big it is. Give it a try. Not cheap, but it also does amazing B&W conversions like this one...

I second Alien Skin's Exposure for adding grain and B&W exposures. They also have grain data to match various film stocks.
