I checked out the metadata, it seems that you a adding lots of contrast twice this is effecting the image.
all three images are also at diffrent color settings.
Raw is just the beginning use it carefully.

Breezy, I played with this specific image. Here's what I did :
1. cropping
2.play with the "level" a little bit
3.added "diffuse glow"-- Filter--Distort--Diffuse Glow. Settings: Graininess 2/glow amount 2/clear amount 16
4. played with "lighting effects" --go under Filter--Render--Lighting Effects--choose Flash Lights
5. the top image I added "midnight sepia v2" action. the bottom image "midnight black v2"

I downloaded some actions from here:http://atncentral.com/download.htm
I think the background is a bit too "busy" and "crowded", that's why I cropped the image and applied the flash light effect to darken out the overwhelming background a little bit.

Hope you like them!

Thanks Suk Yee
I like those
I am still learning CS3 and all I did was boost the contrast and the vibrance, and tried to white balance them. But that is a chore in itself as I had the camera on auto with all of the different lighting. I will try to post the jpegs sooc in a bit
Thanks again for the help

Did you use any fill flash? The backlight is killing you.

I'm not that great at editing images, but the light from the blinds is definately what makes them look..."wrong". I like what SukYee did though.

As for the light meter no I didn't use it I had it though just things were too rushed.
As for fill light again NO as I was asked byt the #1 photographer to not use a flash
