Paint Shop Pro Fix Eyeglass glare - 08-11-2007, 09:57 PM

I downloaded a trail copy of Paint Shop Pro to see if I could fix glass glare on someone who insisted on wearing glasses. Can anyone tell me which tool to start. I need to quickly see if it worth my while to try it myself.

Might try the soften tool or if it's only affecting the eyeglass lens itself perhaps the color changer. There are several tools that could fix it. Soften may be the quickest. Which version did you download?

The newest one, just the free trial version. Glass glare goes into eye. Is it easy to make look pro when you have never used a photoshop program.

Use a combination of the clone and the push brushes... depending on how bad it is, you should be able to do it with those.

It's Window's friendly but can be complicated at times but it does a pretty good job. I agree Clone and Push tools will work as Brad has mentioned. Zoom in on the area so you can concentrate on it and see it well. BE SURE TO SAVE A COPY and work on the copy to protect your original. Good luck.

I thought I could just download and fix without reading anything. I did figure out the cloning and looks pretty good for a first try. I sure appreciate all the help.

I use PSP exclusively... never done anything more than touch photoshop and think "I don't know how to use this"

Glad you had success. I've been using it since it was free. Now after Corel took over and all the upgrades I could have paid for CS3. I can work with PhotoShop but, it feels like an alien program in comparison. I like to be able to work with whatever is out there though since one never knows what they might get stuck needing to, well, fix eyeglass glare on a deadline. As for buying it. I think you will be happy with it, once you are using it. I find myself still using it from three versions back and it does fine. PSP XI is nice and has a lot of extras but it sure uses the memory. Not a problem on a newer computer.
