Miller's Lab Retouch Service - 08-16-2007, 01:04 PM

I didn't see a post for this already so I thought I would start one.

I just tried Miller's retouch service because I took a picture of an elderly person with no choice as to location and she had glasses with terrible glare. I only got one shot and I did make sure the glare didn't cover her eyes. It was in 3 places.

I tried to clone it out myself but the glare was so big I couldn't do it without making her skin look fake. So I figured I would give Miller's a shot. They only charge about $5 plus $3 if you want the image on a CD. I put a note on my order that if they couldn't do it and have it look real, just skip it.

Well, I got the image and prints back and it looks PERFECT. They must have actually drawn the skin details in because the glare was big and there is nowhere they could have cloned that much detail from. I'm no touch up expert but I am totally impressed.

Just wanted to share my experience in case someone else was thinking of using their service.
