Re-size first?

I am starting to think about the annual calendars that I make for family. I have a calendar template that I just paste in a photo. The photos needs to be 1536 X 2048. Should I re-size to this first then make any edits adjustments?

I will crop first to get the aspect ratio, but hold off on resizing until all of the edits are completed.

I agree with Ken. After making all the adjustments and saving the PSD (or TIFF) I would then resize to it's final size then run Smart Sharpen on it to tweak it a little. I find that if I sharpen at the original size then resize it, I lose a little sharpness, so I like to sharpen after resizing.

Generally it is best to save any sharpening until your final step.
